A Texas graduate student in Hanoi...the world's getting global, folks!
Notes from Hanoi
Here flows the breeze of my daily thoughts- like an open window with words drifting through. Sometimes the draft is swift and strong- other times, soft and playful.
List of things to do before I graduate:
-start a blog (done) -Get a job in my field of study, preferably Marketing or PR, here in Hanoi (done- International SOS Marketing Mgr. Hanoi) -Visit my brother in Hong Kong -learn to use iMovie and/or Garage Band -Run in another Fun Run or two (5K or 10K) -Bike trip, driving a Minsk or similar
From small town Texas to capital city, Hanoi in Vietnam. Currently a Masters Student for the University of Hawaii and working towards living life in the way that God intended.
By the way, I got married this past summer to a handsome Irishman. July 25, 2010. We held our afternoon reception at Puku cafe on the second floor terrace (pictured here).
This was my Masters degree from the Shidler College of business at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. After two years of night and weekend classes, I can say that I am happy to be holding that piece of paper!
Lunch as a group at My Anh's house. This lovely group of ladies helped me make my wedding dress and helped with all the little things that go into a wedding. They are an amazing froup f women and I don't know what I would do here at work without them. :)
